In 1979 Dr Michael Rappenglueck was in a project in the Ach Valley in the Alb-Danube region of Germany, where they found an Ivory tablet with something upon it.
There was also found bone ashes and other deposits next to the Ivory tablet, which were taken samples of.

One side clearly represented a man, both of his arms are lifted, and one of his legs was also lifted a little bit. This would mean that this was the oldest representation of a man, ever found.

The samples revealed a huge surprise, they were dated to be between
32.500 and 38.000 years old!

The other side was filled with small dots, it is thought that these ?dots? was a primitive sort of birth calendar
Its measurements are even more baffling, being only 38 x 14 x 4 millimeters.
It is believed that is was made in that size, and was not a pieces of a larger tablet, otherwise called a fragment.

It is believed that this tablet belonged to the Aurignacian People, an ancient native tribe located in Europe and southwest Asia.
Another fine object made by these people, was named ?The Lion Man?
