Just woke up and switched on the TV to catch Max Mayfield make his prediction on the hurricane watch at 07:30 GMT. Ten minutes later the eye of Rita hit Sabine Pass, Texas. The coordinates of Sabine Pass are 093W53'39" 29N44'00". I have been in Texas in my years at Princeton. Dad sent me to Midland and I met the Bush family there in the years of the Shahanshah. Never mind about all that, but on my way back to Princeton I drove through all this area. So my heart goes out to all there. I have my aunt that lives in Houston, and thank goodness that Rita's swirls are actually pushing the water out of Houston. Anyway the time of the landing is important, and the fact that it was broadcast means a lot. So is there any meaning on the chart that you get for 07:40 GMT on Sabine Pass? The chart for the time produces an ascendant of 03Leo36, and the first thing I noticed was that Saturn which is 08Leo18 is very close and rising. Saturn in Astrology signals an ominous situation. This fits remarkably well with the previous comment I made about the Saturn-Neptune opposition for this year. But what it remarkable is the almost precise timing of the landfall at the moment when Saturn rises over Sabine Pass. What is of particular interest for all astrologers is the devastation that will occur as the Moon makes its opposition at 10:32:15 GMT or for all you folks in Texas at 05:32:15 CDT in the politically, and corporate sensitive 11th house. So all that makes sense. No energy is isolated, and at the same time the Moon made a very nice trine (120 degrees) to Neptune, and and Jupiter, which are in 7th (house of change) and 3rd (house of travel). And that makes perfect sense as the people of these areas have managed to cope fairly well. It could have been a lot worse. My prayers to all who live there.
