Amir Taheri has written recently an article called Why Give Iran a Say on Iraq?, in which he thinks he did the work correctly. He should have read The Evolution of the Iran-Iraq Boundary, and moreover, this article The Treaty of Zohab in 1639.
As an Astrologer, it is very important to find the correct times for treaties. The most important feature in determining the chain reactions in events, is to look at the mother mundane chart. And we have a good chart, that really represents the situation we are in.
Put this date in, 17 May 1639. You will see that there is Mars, Venus, Mercury stellum, on the South Node between 17 to 20 degrees Gemini. Then we have Neptune, Moon, Jupiter from 23 Scorpio to 1 Sagittarius, oppose the Sun and Pluto from 25 to 29 Taurus. There is also a Grand Trine formed between the Mars stellum, Uranus, and Saturn in 24 Libra and 18 Aquarius respectively.
So a big wow! Right. Now you wonder why we have so much of the Gemini characteristics in Iraq. You know how so many nationalities want to co-exist. Never mind the oil and ruler scenario with Neptune and Sun. Blimey how clear is that. I mean this chart is for 1639 and yet it rules and is so meaningful today.
Wandered about the never ending war in Iraq, then just look back at how slowly Mars went over that Sun Pluto and Jupiter/Neptune/Moon opposition. It does not take a genius to see that.
What does the future hold? Well Mars is right now at 18 Gemini, so it needs to get into Cancer by mid April, and then much will calm down. And then for all who follow Saturn and Uranus, it is clear that how they will frustrate the oppositions in the chart.
