In stating that the French discrimnate against moslems, Jannati is effectively showing that he has nothing else to say but to moan about other parts of the world. Each time he goes up on the podium, he tries to keep his dwindling followers from falling asleep. His Islamic sermons are falling on deaf ears, and he is losing his popularity and grandeur (as if he really had any). Normally it is the United States he picks on, but nowadays with the US leaving all the nuclear problems in the hands of the EU3, the onus is on France.
So this sharp tongued Ayatollah directs his venom towards France. But is anyone in France even going to even notice what this madman has said. I hope not. He wants the French politicians to complain to the Iranian Foreign Ministry, that is sick to the teeth with Ahmadinejad already. The west is doing a great job in exposing the division amongst the Islamists. But France had always managed to keep all Islamists happy with all the various contracts it has in Iran. Just look at the number of French cars in Iran. It is then quite appropriate for the people who do not like the French appeasement towards the Islamist regime to complain about any future fires the likes of Ayatollah Jannati may be pondering about.
The French riots just need a prominent Islamist like Jannati to fuel their fire everyday. I do not know how much the west African moslems have in common with the creed from Qom, but it will be interesting to see if Jannati is able to win any kind of publicity out of this. After all that is what his greater ego wants.
