Iran Astrology: Christmas 25 December 2013.

It's December and Christmas Fever is upon us. The Earth is getting really close to the Sun, in its elliptical orbit. We in the North are tilting away from the Sun, and the nights are getting longer.

The Ancients of the world knew that the Iranian plateau was the best place for observing time and rotation of the Earth. Some 20,000 years ago, when humans found their way out of Africa, they discovered the farming of wheat, invented the wheel, in Ilam. The world's first language Proto-Elamite was created.

They recorded the movement of the Sun and Moon, and we call them the Sumerians. No other human civilization ever had a base 60 counting system. Your Iranian ancestors did. And at that time we had Iranian Christmas. And yes it was based on maths not dogma.

The magic of Christmas, just like the other three celebrations, is based upon the four important positions of the Earth, as it goes around the Earth. The interplay of light and darkness brings deep memories of our heritage back to you.

Your ancestors' spirits will rekindle when you light up that candle on 21 December or 30 Azar to stay awake the longest night of the year, we call Yalda or Yultide. Wood and logs were our fuel and it is called the celebration of logs, as we thank Ahuramazda, for having enough Logs half way through the long winter.

But our European cousins decided to have Christmas on 4th of Day or Capricorn or 25th of December, because it will be a week before their new year. There is no Astronomical reason for it. Very briefly, we Iranians knew thousands of years before Sayaoshant of Nazareth or Jesus Christ, was going to be born on Yalda, or the first longer day. Jamasp wrote it. The three Magi or Astrologers came from Iran.

So let us look at whether there is anything extraordinary going on. I have been looking at Mars, as it is ending its journey through Shahrivar or Virgo. It will move into Mehr in a few days. It will start to get involved with that famous Pluto-Uranus-Jupiter T-Square. It will make 90, 180 degrees to them. On Tuesdays and Wednesdays we will get triggers.

Now I have reported this regularly, as it does trigger larger than 5.0 Earthquakes, as it did last week. This will get worse. I am afraid Christmas Day will be a challenge. But you should be able to feel the build up on Tuesdays and then Wednesdays as the Moon makes the exact angle, every week as we approach Wednesday 25th or Christmas Day. Last time we had the Bam Earthquake. Need I say more?

So use this energy of change productively. Demand action now. Stand up for getting things done. Fight those who postpone or dither and want to keep the status quo. That way you use this energy positively. Don't be fearful and brood. Apply Good Thoughts, Good Words to get Good Deeds done in the here and now.

You will see major changes in the world of Christianity as they all embrace the 25th. Merry Christmas to you all. And Happy Yalda to all who stay up on the 21st.
