I read that Oil falls $1 as Iran sanctions seen distant, but I just hope the oil price really rockets, and the world actually starts to use alternative energy. It will not be a smooth ride, but as GWB put it, the world economy, not just US, needs to be non-petroleum based. Hopefully as Saturn makes its opposition to Neptune in the next few years these hurdles will be accomplished. We will have periods when the majority of aspects are soft to Neptune, and will take the oil price up, but the hard Saturn aspects will force people to come to practical realities. At that point the world will start to first not buy oil from the Islamists as at that price a lot of the deeper wells will come on stream. So a conflict with Islamists will be like the previous tensions that drastically took oil price up. This seems to be what GWB is hinting at, and it seems a win win situation for him. Ironically the only way it could be bad for GWB in particular and good for Iran and other low cost producers would be for the price to drop to below $15. And I do not see that happening until we have lot of hard aspects to Neptune. If that happens and Islamists are still in power, which is doubtful, then Iranians can increase production and totally wipe out the higher costing wells in USA.
