Perhaps the hardest part of an Astrological analysis is picking the right time.
Do we look at the 10pm time for the moment when the Polling Stations closed in UK? Hmm
Do we look at the moment when the last declaration of the vote is made? Yes.
I always look at the point in time when chaos ends. At 15:26 BST as stated by The Daily Telegraph, the last declaration was made. At that point the full result became a material practical reality.
That is what the Astrological Chart below is based on. Now lets see if by accident or coincidence do the planetary positions reflect the situation in UK's political atmosphere.
The Ascendant for UK election is Virgo. It makes a Grand Earth Trine to Moon/Pluto and Sun. That is an amazingly supportive situation. It is just the sort of balance we needed to counter the harder aspects that make the situation in the UK very conservative.
But look at the 1066 chart. What do you see in Virgo? You will see that the clever English Astrologers chose the year in which Jupiter was conjunct Saturn. This is what I have always seen as the basic force that balances the two very important forces in Astrology. In fact Iranians such as Al-Battani were pioneers in measuring this famous cycle. Even Kondratiev looked at it.
You do not need to be a genius to know that Taureans are very much Conservatives. Hindsight is 20-20 and to get a Conservative majority fits. But it is still that stodgy conservative scenario I mentioned yesterday. In fact it will be a particularly fussy detailed and very efficient practical government.
The most important part of the chart is the money part. We look at the 2nd, 5th, 8th, and 10th Houses.
The 2nd House is ruled by Libra and the planetary ruler is Venus. Venus is very close to MC and is in the 10th House. The home or property is where the wealth will be.
The 5th House is co-ruled with Uranus which is so well placed in the 8th House. So borrowing for property speculation will happen as Uranus is square Moon Pluto. I was worried about this angle not being supported. But at this time the ascendant will make a great trine to it.
Having the Sun, Mars and Mercury in the 9th House, is giving a lot of faith and hope. Hopefully that will give the enthusiasm we need from foreign trade.
Jupiter is in the 11th House of politics and corporations. This is a boon for the economy as Jupiter rules the 9th House and it is in the 11th. This means UK will have a huge amount of foreign interest in UK corporations. This is especially so in all areas related to Leo such as real estate, stock market, entertainment and sport.
Saturn, which a lot of simple minded people associate with horrid things, is in the 3rd House of neighbours or borders. And it really does not take a lot of deep intellectual debating to know that the relations with Scotland and EU are annoying. Then it points to the stress angle to idealistic Neptune in the 6th House of civil service and national health.
All in all the astrology really measures up very well both in describing the past, present and future.
The future is very bright as Jupiter will move into Virgo next year and then Libra in the next two to three years. Then comes the Saturn going over the IC in which an important chapter will close. But that is another long story.
