Suddenly the streets of Iran were jam packed with kids running around singing and dancing, as if it was a Carnival. And it was. The authorities knew that they had to let the kids to mad and get into this whole "democratic process". And the mullah secretly thanked GWB so much for that statement. So I think it is pay back time. Yes Sir. The mullahs will have to show good grace, and tell GWB that they will accept his peaceful overtures. Well they won't tell him directly of course. They will let it slip to Lavrov, and then Solana.
So Ahmadinejad gets GWB elected
Suddenly the Europeans and Russians will make it all look hunky dory. The world has been saved, and there is an agreement. The multinationals do not need to be sanctioned. All because the Islamists in Iran, will start to behave like their cousins in Pakistan. And GWB ratings will sky rocket and win the next elections. Meanwhile the Iranian people will still see all the oil money go into such these capital intensive programs, instead of basic infrastructures. Will the peasants in Natanz get a decent hospital, instead of zillions of centrifuges, and sleepless nights? Heck no.

But remember we were here before, at the time of the Shahanshah. The Iranian scientists were clever enough to make enormous advances, and the world panicked then. At a drop of a hat, Carter said something, the Communists in the oil industry went on strike, and before we knew it, His Royal Highness was on a "temporary" leave. He died, and that political vacuum created has taken almost two generations to fill. And it still has not happened. Not one wealthy Iranian abroad has got the guts to discard Islam, and take on the Islamists in Iran like a true Iranian. Oh they all desguise themselves as "secular", but they still have a high regard for the Koran, and put it on the Holy Haft Seen. Those of us who do have the conviction, are ignored, and no one knows about us. So the ones with the money are not hungry for it, and those with the courage of our of conviction, have no means. Moreover, now that the US wants to chat with the Islamists, the opposition has to really think what has it been up to. Yeah guys, what have you been up to?

But inside the Islamist world things are different. Now let us look at the past fortnight. Notice how Ahmadinejad has gone so quiet. He just does not have any more wild things to say. He must be wandering, "what can I say that the US will not do for me. I can have a reactor and use the energy too." But he would rather go further for his own salvation doesn't he. This man listens to Mesbah Yazdi, who is administrating a government for the 12th Shi'ite King in waiting. And that is the real agenda. Against that morality, anything that the US EU or UN says is irrelevant. As far as the Shi'ites that belong that particular creed are concerned, they have to press the nuclear button. Mutually Assured Destruction (MAD) is just fine for them. The Christians and the Jews that came up with the MAD idea, never thought that some one would think that he is going to eventually win. Yes, the Islamists in Qom, certainly believe that they are of a higher moral order, and will win in any MAD scenario, and so let's help GWB on the way there.
